Nelson's Barn is a beautiful conversion of old stabling and a barn on the site of The Old Rectory where Admiral Lord Nelson was born. There is a plaque on the wall outside recording this historical fact. The barn overlooks the water meadows where the River Burn meanders towards Burnham Overy. This is a really peaceful spot with lots of wildlife, including barn owls and marsh harriers. The accommodation is really spacious with bedrooms on both floors. A cosy wood burning stove in the main sitting room, together with a Nest heating system will keep you warm on cooler evenings. There is a galleried landing around the main living space, with a hexagonal skylight to the roof.
Additional Information Two well behaved dogs are welcome (small additional charge).
